5) When the time comes we receive the piece, work on it, and you get it back to enjoy!
You can choose from a medium sized selection of fabrics available through us. Fabric sales is not our focus, so we sell it at a 35% discount. You are free to get fabric elsewhere without effecting other project costs. If you do so, please consult with us about yardage.
We certainly can. We do need to charge for the time and vehicle costs involved, which adds up fast. If you have other ways to transport the item it is encouraged.
It is often surprising how much can be repaired. Very often fairly big repairs are not extremely costly.
Yes.
We generally do not completely refinish an old finish. On small areas we may be able to, but usually great results are seen from restoring the finish by cleaning, spot sanding, slight staining, and adding varnish. When the upholstery is removed it is the best time to do this.
Yes, thank you for asking! Reupholstering automatically reduces waste, but there is even more that can be done. Coconut coir, cotton batting, natural latex foam, and soy based foams are options for padding depending on the application. Fabric of natural fibers or those made with better environmental standards are also available. To make the best use of such materials we need to plan for it from the start.
